こんばんは、サークルの飲み会で今帰ってきたトコのないとです。
サークルの飲み会もただの飲み会ではなくて、
「引退する3年生お疲れ様っす！」
みたいな、いわば’追いコン’でした。
これからサークルも1，2年が主となるんですねぇ…。
まだ実感が湧きませんが、頑張る事に変わりは無いので、
サークルを精一杯メインテナンスしていくよう努力します＾＾
さて話は変わりますが、昨日（6日）の英語の授業でスピーチをしたんですよ。
やっぱトコトン緊張しますね、スピーチって。
やる前は完全にナメてました、スピーチを。＾＾；
と言うのも、スピーチの内容がFREEだったからなんですよ。
ナメたってのは、つまり…
『自分で好き勝手作ったスピーチなんだから発表も余裕やろ』
って事です。
…見事に撃沈しました。（笑）
そういう意味で、スピーチの緊張感を再認っ！
以下、スピーチの文です。
何かチャランポランなスピーチだったんで、もしかしたら理解されてないかもしれない…と思いまして。
とりあえず下記で理解していただければ幸甚ですmm
因みにスピーチの内容は、以前この日記にも書いた
『関西人はどうしてエスカレーターで左側を空けるの？』
でした。
Hello， everyone.
As you know， I’m from Osaka. (I was born in Osaka.)
Now， I live in Kanto. But， I have spoken in dialect， called as Osaka-ben or Kansai-ben.
For example， ‘Nandeyanen!!’
But， I don’t say ‘Kashiwa’ or ‘Nankin’. They are said naturally in Osaka.
(‘Kashiwa’ means chicken. ‘Nankin’ means pumpkin.)
Today， I’m going to speak about certain tradition of Osaka.
Have you ever heard Osaka and Kansai people stay (walk) right side on escalator?
Do you know why people in Osaka stay (walk) right side on escalator?
This is the best question which my friends ask me.
Before getting to the point， I’m going to talk about roads of Japan.
Do you know why roads of Japan are left-hand traffic?
In Edo period， samurai mainly wandered around town in Edo.
They equipped with sword (katana) on left waist， so if they walk right side on the street， their sword (katana) clashed…
The sword (katana) is of great value to samurai. (It’s important for samurai.)
It’s says that this is the reason for being left-hand traffic in Japan.
But ， in those days， Osaka is a center of commerce.
So， merchants mainly wandered around town in Osaka.
Of course， merchants are human-beings， so their better arm is right arm generally.
(They write， hold， grip， and so on， by right arm.)
That is to say， they shouldered their wrapping cloth (furoshiki) loaded many goods on right arm.
If they walk left side on the street， their wrapping cloth clashed…
The wrapping cloth (furoshiki) is of great value to merchants. (It’s important for merchants.)
It’s says that this is the reason for being right-hand traffic in Osaka.
So， this tradition has lived as a place which a man pass or miss each other.
Lastly， if you were told ‘Don’t stand in my way!!’ by a woman， for example， when you stay (walk) left side on escalator.
Don’t be angry please. Because she must be from Osaka or Kansai.
